Located on the tranquil slopes of Table Mountain, Rosedene Guest House enjoys an ideal location: peaceful enough to be awoken by birdsong, yet within walking distance of Cape Town’s “dining mile”, and minutes from the city centre, Waterfront and the Cape’s most beautiful beaches. With only 12 rooms, each gorgeously outfitted, Rosedene is small enough to provide highly personalised service, yet big enough to provide you with the kind of service you’d expect from a small hotel. Which would perhaps explain our high percentage of repeat customers.

From the minute you arrive, we’re at your service. We can arrange to have you picked up from the airport and whisked to your new home on the slopes of the most famous mountain in Africa within 20 to 30 minutes of arrival.

Walk through the flower-filled courtyard garden, then relax on one of our comfortable couches with a cappuccino or celebratory glass of wine while you check in, or head straight for your room – when you’re ready we’re happy to help you make the most of Cape Town’s myriad attractions; from restaurants to winefarms, adventure activities to shopping, beaches to tour guides, our knowledgeable staff can point you in the right direction.

From Cape Town Airport

• Join the N2 double lane motorway heading for Cape Town
• 8.9km mark pass twin concrete cooling towers on right hand side of motorway
• 11.7km mark N2 motorway turns sharply left…follow left curve and “N2 City” signage
• 13.5km mark bear right following the “City N2” signage
• 13.9km move to far left hand lane
• 14.4km mark follow “City via De Waal Drive” signage
• 18.1km mark, keep in left lane, just before overhead pass, turn left at “M3 Mill Street” sign
• 19.1km mark, just past Garden Centre Mall on left, at traffic lights move into the far left hand lane (do not bear right with this road) and continue with Mill Street, past Holiday Inn on left to Stop sign at T-Junction
• 19.3km mark turn left at Stop sign into Upper Orange Street
• 19.6km turn at first road right into Camp Street (at Cable Way sign)
• 9.9km turn left at first Traffic light into Hof Street. Past Cape Town Medi-Clinic on left, following road bearing sharp to the right
• 20.7km mark, Bacini’s Pizzeria on left corner, Bombay Bicycle Skollywood Restaurant across the road, turn left at Stop sign into Kloof Street
• 20.7km mark road fork into three, turn right into middle road (which has a white house on one corner and a blue house on the other corner) cul-de-sac, Upper Kloof Street following Rosedene Guest House signage, 50m up the road fork again, keep right over speed bump, Rosedene Guest House is at the top on the right and there are plenty of parking spaces.
